Today, we need to talk about beginner bass mistakes – the kind of things that beginner bassists do that can slow down progress, or even stop it entirely.
I’m not even being super hyperbolic here.
In fact, when I was starting out as a beginner bass player, I made just ONE of these mistakes and it nearly led me to quitting bass altogether.
Luckily, that didn’t end up happening, but the mistake is one that I see beginners make all the time.
So let’s tackle each one of these 11 bass mistakes so you can supercharge your progress on bass.
