How To Play Any Song You Know In Any Key You Want
Instead of sweating bullets and fumbling over your notes to change key on the fly, you’d have a system that let you play confidently no matter what key you needed to play in.
This is yet another thing that knowing just a little bit of theory can help out with.
Again, this isn’t a pipe dream – it’s a very attainable goal. Once again, all you need is a little knowledge of the inner mechanics of music.
In this case, piece of knowledge that’s going to let you do this is called the ‘Major Chord Scale’. I’ve talked about it briefly in some previous lessons, but you’ll get the whole picture in this lesson.
This comes from Module 3 of my new course Practical Theory For Bass Players, so I talk about a few concepts from earlier lessons, but I don’t think you’ll have any trouble following along. If you do have any questions, feel free to email me any time.[/text_block]

And if you do need to change key, you don’t have to learn the song again – you just punch in the numbers in the new key.
You can do this with bass lines, melodies, or anything else that you wanted to play – the sky is the limit.
Now this is just one thing you can do with just a little bit of theory knowledge. In Practical Theory For Bass Players, I’ll show you all the tips and tricks you need to take your playing to the next level.
Whether you want to break away from only playing roots in your bass lines, start to improvise with confidence, or simply understand the music that you love a little better, Practical Theory can help.
Enrollment is open right now, but only until Saturday at 11:59PM GMT, so be sure to join before that. You can get all the details and join the course right here:[/text_block]
